Obituary of Liboria Valore

VALORE, Liboria Born on September 23rd, 1948 in Santa Margherita de Belice, Sicily. Predeceased by her loving husband Giuseppe, beautiful mother to Paul (Michele), Peter (Laura) and Joe (Candie). Tremendously proud Nonna to Ross(Kristen), Vince, Gabriel, Bano, Augustino and her one and only granddaughter Serena. Our lives will never be the same without her. We will miss her Sunday dinners where her secret ingredient was cooking with lots of love. Liboria had a great zest for life, and could always be found singing and dancing to make everybody smile. She had an unwavering strength in God that helped her persevere through all her physical ailments. She was a devout member of St.Angela Merici church and a proud member of the Catholic Women's League. If she would ask one last thing of all those who knew and loved her is to pray and to teach your children and your grandchildren the same, it is where no matter how bad things were, through prayer she always found peace and solace. She is predeceased by her parents Pietro and Maria Risveglia, brothers Leonardo and Vito, sister Enza and her much loved Zio Vincenzo. Survived by brothers Bano, Lorenzo and sister Anna Maria and many family and friends across Canada, United States and Italy. At last she will be reunited with all those she loved and lost, as she always reminded us that one day we would all be together again. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E (516-253-7234) on Friday February 1st, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services beginning at the funeral home on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00 am with procession to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
