Obituary of Valent Crnkovic

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Valent, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on January 29, 2019 at the age of 87, with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Ljubica (nee Sivec). Loving father of Margaret Loncaric & husband Nikola, and Anne Bering & husband William James all of Windsor. Predeceased by his parents Valent & Stana Crnkovic. Cherished grandfather of James Bering (Katherine), Anthony Loncaric (Kiley), Stephen Loncaric, Adam Bering (Kim), Lauren Calcara (Roberto), and Michael Loncaric, and great grandfather to Logan and Quinn Loncaric, and Hudson Bering. Predeceased by sisters Marija Sivec and Ankica Babic of Croatia. Valent retired from SKD Manufacturing with 26 years of dedicated service, and was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church and CAW Local 89. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd.E., 519-253-7234 on Friday February 1, 2019 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Friday at 8pm. Funeral Services on Saturday February 2, 2019 at 9:15am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass at 10am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In kindness, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund.
