Obituary of Clayton Floyd Massender
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, papa, brother and friend on December 1, 2020 at home. Predeceased by his parents Everitt and Bernice. Loving and devoted husband of Martha for 35 years. Cherished father of Jennifer Olinzock (Paul), and Kelly DeJong (Ted). Beloved Papa of Charlotte and Henry Olinzock. Dear brother of Sue Myers, Nancy Chevalier (Rick) and the late Lyle and Donald (Jackie). Dear brother in-law of Peter Deimling (Carol), Lee Deimling (Joan), Dave Deimling (Dayna) and Mike Deimling (Denise). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Mini was a retired paramedic and District Chief with the Essex-Windsor EMS after 40 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, he loved fishing, hunting and being with his friends, but his most cherished time was that spent with his two grandchildren and his loving family. Clayton will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 with interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery. Reservations are required to attend the visitation, funeral and cemetery. Please call Windsor Chapel at 519.253.7234 between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm to book your time spot.
