Obituary of James Thomas McMahon

Jim passed suddenly on Saturday, January 19, 2019. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 27 years Marguerite, and his children Sean, Meaghan (Adam Connel) and Braden. Beloved outlaw brother of Lynn Bunting, Tom & Debbie Hurley and Doug & Brenda Bunting. Beloved uncle of Patricia Hurley, Greg (Shannon) Hurley and Nicole & Christopher Bunting. Pre-deceased by his parents Robert & Ruth McMahon, and his beloved father and mother-in-law Doug & Mary Bunting. He retired from the Essex ACT Team in 2018, and was employed as a nurse at the Southwest Detention Centre (Weekend Jimmy). Jim was a passionate sports fan, football coach and never ever missed his children’s sporting events. He was a dedicated family man, who always put others first. He was a great friend, husband and father. His wife will miss holding his hand on their Sunday drives. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel) 3048 Dougal Ave (519-253-7234) on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6-8pm. Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jim may be made in appreciation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Epilepsy of South Western Ontario.
