Obituary of Edmond Georges Toubassi

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Edmond on January 14, 2019 at 80 years of age. Loving husband of Laila (nee Ghawi) with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. Cherished and devoted father of Roy Toubassi, Carl Toubassi and Lara Roos and husband Jeremy. Predeceased by his parents Georges and Violette Toubassi. Dear brother of Edward Toubassi and wife Leila, Doris Shaya and late husband Nicola and the late Laurette Nehme and late husband Abdallah. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Edmond retired after many years as a dedicated pharmacist in Lebanon, Toronto, ON and Windsor, ON. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Thursday January 17, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 7:30 p.m. On Friday January 18, 2019, relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at St Ignatius Of Antioch Orthodox Church (1808 Labelle St.) for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
