Obituary of Edgar Dionne

Dionne, Edgar “Eddy” September 26, 1924 – January 11, 2019 Born into Eternal Life at his home, on January 11, 2019 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Loretta Jahanna Dionne (2014). Loving father of Michael Dionne (Barb), Lorraine Clingan (Scott), Roseanne Dionne, Maureen Dionne-Woodrich (Jim), Denise Fister, and Dennis Dionne (Carolyn). Devoted and loving grandfather to Jerelea, Eli, Matthew, Dean, Rachelle (Brad), Erin (Jeff), D’arcey, Jesse, Jessica, Jeremy, Gabrielle, Alexandre and the late Corey (2017) and proud great-grandfather of Mackenzie, Blake, Quentin and Simone. Cherished brother to Florence & Laura and predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters. We wish to thank the staff and the friends he made during his stay at Amica Retirement Living. Our father was forever filled with such a simple and basic goodness. We were blessed both with his presence and his example. He will be greatly missed. Eddy was very proud of his service as a Flight Sergeant in the RCAF in England during WWII. He retired from Chrysler in the 80’s, after which he fulfilled his goal of being retired longer than his years worked. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
