Obituary of Wesley Jerome Orr
Orr, Wesley Jérôme 25, of Tecumseh, Ontario died January 4th 2019 as a result of a climbing accident goofing around in Collingwood, Ontario. He attended École secondaire l’Essor. Wes was an adventurer, passionate about the outdoors, and a committed firefighter. He was a loved son, brother, and friend, greatly involved in his family business and community. He will be missed dearly and will remain present in our hearts. Remembered always as an energetic, driven, and hard-working young man.A graduate of the University of Toronto"s Paramedicine program, Wesley was a Firefighter for the Windsor Fire & Rescue Services. Fourth generation of the Melvin Orr Trucking Family, he was also dedicated to the succession of the family company.
Wesley is survived by his parents Terry and Louise (née Chauvin) of Tecumseh; his brother Dillon (Félix Desmeules-Trudel) and his sisters Erin (Stephen Skorbinski) and Melanie. Beloved grandson of Jeanne (née Cécile) and Melvin (2017) Orr; Jérôme (2013) and Yvonne (2013, née Lalonde) Chauvin. He is also survived by his girlfriend Meighen Boyd, friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and faithful companion Piper. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd (519)253-7234 on Tuesday January 8, 2019 from 2 to 5:30pm & 6 to 9pm with a Firefighters walk through at 7:30pm. Funeral services for Wes will take place on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 11am in the chapel. Cremation to follow. As your expression of sympathy donations in memory of Wesley may be made to the Windsor Professional Firefighters Benefit Fund "Sparky's Toy Drive".
