Obituary of Christine Vakalis

It is with deeply saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful and sudden passing of our beloved Sister, Aunt and Great-Aunt, Christine, on December 9, 2018 at 60 years old. Reunited with her loving parents John and Fanny Vakalis. Beloved sister and best friend of Mary and Franco Quaggiotto. Adored Aunt (Teta) of Paul and Sandra Quaggiotto, Michael and Martina Quaggiotto, Lisa and Anthony DiPonti. Loving Great-Aunt to Giovanni, Nico, Maximo, Stella, Marcello, Gabriella, Marco, Mattias and Giuliana whom were her greatest joys in life. Survived by several Aunts and Cousins in Australia and Greece. Memories of Christine for her love of her family, her gentle soul and her funny comments will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends, and will be forever in our hearts. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519.253.7234 on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 9:30 am until the time of Funeral Service at 10:30 am in the Chapel. Officiating The Very Rev. Dr. Aleksandar Mustenikov.
