Obituary of Joanna Dorothy Matta

Passed away on December 5, 2018. Daughter of the late Andrew (1976) and Anna (1995) Matta. Dear sister of Mary Matta of Windsor, brother Michael (1996) and John (Betty) of Pittsford, NY. Survived by nephew Robert Matta and niece, Lisa DerCola of NY and niece Christina Matta of WI. Joanna was a long-time golfer. She loved to read mysteries, shop and solve crossword puzzles, but most of all, she was a dog lover. She will be missed by long-time friends Gerald (2018) and Gen Wogan and family and close friend, Julie Bodayla, and especially by her beloved four-legged best friend, Tyler. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Monday December 10, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) on Tuesday December 11, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
