Obituary of Antonio Gugliotta

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of a true family man, Tony, on December 3, 2018 at 70 years of age. Loving husband of Connie "Rosa" (nee Ciampa) with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. Cherished and devoted father of Marina Schembri and husband John, Daniela Cosme (Kevin), Vincenzo Gugliotta and Sandra Gugliotta. Adored Nonno and "Pops" of Selena, Matteo, Orlando, Alaysia and Natalia. Predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Maria Gugliotta, mother and father-in-law Antonio and Teresa Ciampa and 2 infant brothers. Dear brother-in-law of the late Rosa Ciampa, the late Domenico (Chiarina) Ciampa, Luigi (Anna) Ciampa, Inessa (late Salvatore) Lepera, Mafalda (late Vincenzo) Greco, Michele (Alba) Ciampa, the late Maria Ciampa, and Olga (Ignazio) Spagnuolo. He will also be missed dearly by his aunt Teresa Covassi, uncles in Toronto and Italy, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony retired from Kodak Canada after 27 years of dedicated service. Tony was a devoted parishioner and usher at Our Lady of the Atonement Church and a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. Tony will always be remembered for his love of cooking, gardening and spending quality time with his beloved family. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Friday December 7, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) on Saturday December 8, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
