Sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Robert Bell. He delivered me and was my family doctor for many years. Eventually he delivered two of my children and cared for them until his retirement. Occasionally I would run into him at the hospital where I worked and he always remembered my name. He will be remembered as a kind, caring man and wonderful doctor. J. Vincent and family

To the family of Dr. Bell I am so sorry for your loss. My 3 oldest children were delivered by Dr.Frank DeMarco & my 3 youngest were delivered by Dr.Bell. With 6 children I was always in to the office for one thing or another but what I most appreciated was Dr.Bell''s kindness during my pregnancies. He was always very patient with any concerns I had about anything. He also treated my husband''s family - mother & brother as well as his grandfather (Elmer Rose) & grandmother(Georgina Rose). For all that Dr.Bell did for all of our family I thank him. God ''s blessings to all of you.

It is with great sadness that I read Dr. Bell''s obituary. I am one of those babies that was delivered at the very beginning of his career. (Although jokingly, he would never admit it) He had since delivered my children and was our family doctor up to retirement. What a wonderful, caring, understanding man he was. I truly missed him when he retired. I was able to connect with Susan a year or so ago and she relayed my greetings to him. He remembered our family and it was heartwarming after all these years. I always think of him, driving past your home, seeing the huge "bell" in front. My condolences go out to you and yours. He will be truly missed by many. May you find peace and enjoy the wonderful memories this special man brought to the world.

My sincere condolences to the Bell family. When I was a young physician just starting out, Dr Bell provided guidance and reassurance to me. I worked doing locums in his office. I discovered a wonderful man with loyal patients who loved him. He worked diligently to care for his patients and showed real concern and compassion along with excellent medical knowledge and clinical acumen. He was a pillar of this community''s medical community. Thank you to Bob for all he did for me. My sincere condolences on the loss of this wonderful man.

On behalf of myself and my partner, Gene Allen, I want to extend to Alice Bell, Rob Bell, Diane Walker and all the Bell family and extended members of the family our sympathy on learning of the death of Dr Robert Bell. Neither I nor Gene ever had the privilege of meeting Rob''s parents, but we both feel we knew them through Rob and Diane, as well as their accounts of his wonderful parents, including the joys and heartbreaks this family has shared through the past decades. We know Dr Bell was loved and cared for always, as he richly deserved to be, and that he is greatly mourned and will be deeply missed by all, always. Sincerely, Erika Ritter and Gene Allen Toronto
