Obituary of Petar Kanis

KANIS, Petar Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2018 at the age of 83. Loving father to Peter and wife Lana Kanis. Cherished Dida to Quinn. Former spouse to Melita "Kathy" Baron. Predeceased by six siblings. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Australia and Croatia. Petar was a carpenter by trade who was very passionate about everything he did. He was a very spirited individual who always said, "Tako mora bit!" A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Country Village Nursing Home in South Woodslee for their compassionate care provided to Petar. At Petar"s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation to take place on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 10:30am until the time of memorial service at 11 am in the Chapel.
