I was very sorry to read of Noreen''s passing. My husband and I lived a few doors from Noreen on Chilver Road in the 1980''s. We met up with her at Most Precious Blood Church and learned that we were neighbours. She was always a delight to speak with and full of energy and joy. When we moved, my brother and his wife bought our Chilver Road house and he would shovel snow for Noreen so we continued to hear about her. She taught us all how to treat others. May she now shine in Heaven.
We have beautiful memories of Armand and Noreen. Paula and Suzanne baby sat our children. Thank you. Noreen was a beautiful person to encounter. Even later in life, after moving away, when we met her, she was always the bubbly warm person that we used to know.
So sorry to hear of your mother''s passing. I remember when I first moved on Chilver, your Mom dropping by to welcome me to the neighbourhood. She wouldn''t hear tell of me call her Mrs. Renaud, it was always Noreen. I miss not seeing her out on her front porch having tea with her friends. She was always such a busy person and so very much independent Many a time she would flag me over to come sit with her and have a chat. . She spoke fondly of her children and grandchildren..She will be sadly missed from her neighbours on Chilver Road. R.I.P. Noreen.
Our family, including my mom who still lives on Ida St., are ALL very sorry for your family's loss! We lost our dad to this terrible disease this June, so we really feel for ALL of you! PEACE, Carlo.
