Obituary of Mario Migliarese - Caputi

MIGLIARESE - MARIOWe are sad to announce the passing of Mario Migliarese on October 31st 2018, he will be greatly missed by his best friend and wife Rose Mary Migliarese, along with their children Joseph Migliarese (Gina Bussoli), Tony Migliarese (Nicole Rigaux) and grand daughter Lucia Rose. Predeceased by his parents Maria and Francesco Migliarese survived by mother in law Maria Lopez (Felice Lopez, deceased)Brother to Giuseppe (Deceased) and Angela Migliarese, Angelo (Deceased) and Caterina Migliarese, Giovanni Migliarese (Costanza), Salvatore Migliarese (Franca), Antonio Migliarese (Maria), Teresa (Pasquale) Straface (deceased), Maria and Giovanni Barile (deceased), Caterina Bitoni (Salvatore), Franca Lopez (Antonio " Deceased). Brother in law to John Lopez (Lisa), Sam Lopez (Jackie), Joe Lopez (Cheri). Mario will be missed by many nieces and nephews from Canada, USA and Italy. Mario owned and operated along with his wife DiVino Trattoria in Essex, Ontario for 13yrs where he was very dedicated in serving his loyal customers. Mario had a passion for the restaurant. He was also a member of the Caboto Club for over 25 years, there he enjoyed his Sunday afternoons watching televised Italian soccer games with his friends. He loved the game and had a vast knowledge of soccer. Special thank you to our cousin Tony Barile for his constant Support, who was always there for Mario during his journey, he attended every doctors appointment, every chemo session and taking the time to take Mario out for pizza or whatever he wanted to do. Heart filled thank you to Mario"s home nurse Jocelyn, and a special thank you to the staff at hospice especially Dr. Stephen Rukavina for all their kindness and support. Special thank you to Dr.Dean Favot, for always being there for Mario whether for medical reasons or just being a supportive friend. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue 519-253-7234 on Friday November 2, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral services on Saturday November 3rd 2018 at 10:00am in the Chapel.
