Obituary of Gerald Michael Valente

VALENTE, Gerald "Gerry"July 06, 1949-October 30, 2018Passed away peacefully on October 30, 2018, with his family by his side. Loving husband of Kathy (nee Partridge). Dear stepfather of Rachael Partridge (Justin). Cherished grandfather of Arianna Huber. Dear brother of Toni Allevato (Pat), Rosanne Scarfone (Jeff), Lou Valente (Betty Ann), John Valente, Al Valente and Catherine Hebecker (Marino). Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Rose Mary Valente, his twin brother Joseph Valente and sister Marianne Ramia. Gerry will also be missed by many extended family, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 399, and was known for living the simple life, where he enjoyed his time with family, being on the water, water skiing and being an avid sports fan. In keeping with Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. In memory of Gerry, memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association.
