Obituary of Maria Bachynsky

<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Bachynsky (nee Kutchma), Maria<br/><br/>Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at the age of 99 in Windsor at Banwell Gardens.<br/>Beloved wife of the late Walter Bachynsky (2019).<br/>Loving and devoted mother of Mary Zahrebelny (Dr. George) and Richard Bachynsky (Jennifer).<br/>Cherished Babcha of Christina (Matt), Andre, Vanessa, Erik, Laura (Brad), Daniel, Christopher and Katlyn .<br/>and Great Grandmother of Matthew, Izabella and Alekzander.<br/>Born in Lvov, Ukraine Maria traveled to Canada in the late 1940’s, where she built a beautiful life for herself and her loved ones. Maria volunteered at many Ukrainian organizations including the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada, Ukrainian Youth Association (CYM) and Prosvita, where she often prepared and served traditional Ukrainian dishes for the community. Maria was a talented seamstress and worked hard as a Landlady. She took pride in her garden, household and precious family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Bayshore HealthCare and Banwell Gardens for all of their support over the last few years.<br/>As an expression of your sympathy, donations may be made out to Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund.<br/>Private Family Visitation and Funeral Service at Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, 601 Lake Trail Drive Windsor, on Saturday, November 28th, 2020.
