Obituary of James Lott

LOTT, James Hadley "Jim"March 23, 1944- October 25, 2018Passed away in peace with his family by his side.Jim was loving husband to Jackie Riley and Margaret Lott. Wonderful father to Marlo Lott (Mark Tiefenbach), and Shanin Lott (Will Hutchins). Proud "Papa" of Madison, Cameron, Simon, Myles, Stella and Annabel, with whom he cherished every moment. Dear son of the late Sylvia Lott. Dear brother of Gloria (Lanny), Darlene (Ken), Larry (Sandy) and predeceased by sisters Cathy and Linda. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jim began his career as a bank manager at CIBC. He later moved on to the hospitality industry, operating many successful businesses in the community, including the Lions"s Head, Hadley"s and the River City Cafe (Menards) and for the last 23 years at the Gladstone Grill. Jim was well known and loved by many for his quick wit, warmth and unconditional generosity. Over the years, he touched many lives and will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Visiting at the Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East on Sunday October 28, 2018 from 1pm until a celebration of his life at 4pm. Cremation to follow.
