Obituary of Rosa Teresa Luppke

(nee Krieger) Has passed away peacefully at age 87 at the Dr. Y Emara Palliative Care Unit in Windsor on Sept. 22, 2018. Rosa"s wishes have been granted, as she now joins her late husband of 68 years, Herbert (2014); and brother, Franz Krieger in the garden of heaven. Survived by children Sylvia and Dr. Gary Remillong and Phil and Dianne (nee Stiller) Luppke. Grandchildren Dave (Tammy) Luppke; Jennifer (Joel) Stafford; Brian (Erin) Remillong; Derek (Christine) Remillong; five great-grandchildren and one on the way: Charlotte, Adam, Tanner and twin boys, Maverick and Brayden. Rosa was born in Mannheim, Germany, and moved to Canada in 1954. She was a life long resident of Windsor, member of the Teutonia Mixed Choir, and will be missed by all her family and friends from the Hofburg, and St. Clair Chartwell Retirement homes. Rosa was an avid cook and baker, well known for her famous Linzer Tort. She enjoyed her family time, especially when the grand kids and great grand kids were around. Omi, as they affectionately knew her, will be missed by all. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Renal Dialysis unit WRH Ouellette Campus and HDGH - Dr. Y Emara T2B Palliative Care building for their loving care and support. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 3:30pm. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 9:45am from the funeral home to Good Shepherd Parish for her Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
