Obituary of Madonna Mallen
MALLEN, Madonna (nee Ouellette) Welcomed into Eternal Life surrounded by her loving family, on September 21, 2018 at the age of 89. Madonna is reunited with her beloved husband Patrick `Jones`(2008) with whom she celebrated 56 wonderful years of marriage. She will be greatly missed, by her children and grandchildren, who were her whole world. She was a loving Mom to Paddy (Cheryl), Karen (Jim), Michael (Nikki), Don (Jane). Adored `Mim` to Bob (Emily), Sarah (Ben), Kristen (Derek), Nikki, Patrick, Mathew (2016), Michael Jr., Maddie, Mackenzie, Murdock (Samantha), Colin, Elizabeth, and `Mimi Mimi`to Wyatt and Russell. Cherished sister to Marie (Dan) Hebert and predeceased by siblings, Vincent, Adrienne, Betty and Bill. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Madonna graduated in 1950 from the Nursing program at Hotel-Dieu Hospital. She worked a combined 40 years as a Registered Nurse with Hotel-Dieu Hospital and Chrysler Canada. Madonna touched so many lives as a selfless and dedicated volunteer with Hospice Village of Windsor and the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd. at Wyandotte St. E.) for visitation from 10:30 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Madonna`s life, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor.
