Is it with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Oliva surrounded by her loving family on September 14, 2018. Reunited with her loving husband Giuseppe with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. Treasured and devoted Mamma of Vincenzo Grillo and wife Omaira, Anna Maria Grillo, Salvatore Grillo and Vita Grillo. Cherished Nonna Lilla of Jeff, Rosalia and husband Fabrizio, Jamie and husband Justin, Olivia and husband Fabio, Jodi, Giuseppina and husband Giuseppe and Ayla. Adored Bis Nonna of Christian, Edoardo, Monica, Alex and Sofia. Dear sister of the late Sebastiano, Giacomo and wife Franca, the late Francesco and late wife Bina, Rosario and Renata and Giuseppe and wife Enza. Sister-in-law of the late Biagio and late wife Maria, the late Sr. Benedetta, Pietro and late wife Maria, Gaspare and wife Vita and Vito and wife Enza. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy. Oliva was a loving, compassionate and selfless women who cared for those around her with great pride. She will forever live in our hearts. A special thank you to Diana Tootill, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Herron Terrace, 5th floor nursing staff at Windsor Regional Hospital- Metropolitan Campus and Dr. Shand and her team for your care and compassion given to our dearest Oliva. East, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday September 18, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Wednesday September 19, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
