Obituary of Joseph Armand Mero

MERO, Armand "Red"Passed away peacefully on September 13, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Loving husband of Lucienne Marie (nee Beasse) for 61 years. Beloved father of Armand (Louise), Chris (Jill), Bob (Barb), Renee (Glenn), Sandra (Eric), Pat (Karen) and Annette (Robert). Dear pepe of Shannon (Randy), Colleen (Vince), Caleb, Nathan, Nathalie, William, Victoria, Kristen, Derek, Meagan and Dalton. Great grandfather of Thomas, Joseph, Kelly, Kaylen, Kendra, Keegan and Jarrett. Cherished brother of Noella Miller, John Mero and late Dan Mero. Reunited with his parents Donald and Victoria Mero (nee Deguire). Armand was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, he was a Service Officer, and belonged to the Naval Association. He was a passionate advocate for Veterans Benefits and believed in lifelong service. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Sunday September 16, 2018 from 7-9pm, Monday September 17, 2018 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Monday at 4:30pm. A Veteran Service under the Auspices of Windsor Veteran's Memorial Committee, will be held at 7pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday September 18, 2018, at 10:15am from the funeral home to St. Vincent de Paul Church (2015 Balfour Blvd) for Funeral Mass at 11am.
