Obituary of Daniel Aurel Marion

Marion, Daniel Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 6, 2018 at the age of 73 years. Cherished husband and soulmate to Mary Edna for 51 years. Loving father to Renee (Kevin) Laforet, Michael (Melissa) Marion, and Cherie (Steve) Lovell. Proud Pepe to Zoe, Veta, Ryan, and Aidan. Predeceased by his parents; Albert & Florence Marion, siblings; Marvin, Phil, Paul, and Ricky, in-laws; Leonard & Betty Sylvestre and brother-in-law; John Sylvestre (Bev Gauthier). Survived by his sisters; Betty (late Aurel) Biron, Cecile (late Jim) Martin and Pat (Tom) Bensette, brother-in-laws, Jim (Jeanette) Sylvestre & Dennis (Sharon) Sylvestre, and sister-in-law; Mary Jane (Mike) O"Keefe. Daniel was the proud owner and president of Essex Acoustics and Drywall Inc. for over 30 years. For his hard work and dedication to detail, he received many construction awards throughout his career. He was particularly proud of the construction of Joseph Anthony Jewellers. Also, a long-time member of Windsor Construction Association.Dan had a passion for being on the water, through boating, watersports, & fishing. Most recently, he took up boxing and joined the Rock Steady Program at Border City Boxing. Memorial visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E 519.253.7234 on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Parish Prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will resume at St Anne Church (Tecumseh) on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 10:30am until time of Memorial Funeral Mass at 11am.
