Obituary of James Charles Belleau
After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, it is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jim at the age of 62. We lost him September 1st in the loving arms of his wife and best friend Laura, along with their devoted sons Daryl and his wife Jenn and Eric and his wife Ev. He was an amazing grandpa to Gracin and Aubrey, or as grandpa often called them "Buddy" and "Pumpkins". Jim also fought very hard to be able to hold his soon to be grandchild. Jim will be missed by his daughters Genevieve Dinga and Melissa Doyle and her husband Kevin and his grandchildren Kelsea, Maddison, Abigail, Lily, Sophia and Declan. Son of the late Ray and Shirley Belleau and son-in-law of the late Aur"le and Jeannette Drouillard. Loving brother of Dan (Cathy), Catherine, Barb (Gary), Chris, Brenda, Sharon (Cecil) and predeceased by Lin (TJ) early this year. Fun brother-in-law to Ray (Linda), Rick (Mary), Carol (Gary), Len (Kery), Joyce (Jim), Wally (Angie), Kathy, Grace (Joe) and Monica (Dennis). Jim will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Spending time with his family was what Jim enjoyed the most. He loved travelling and was fortunate enough to enjoy many trips over the years with Laura, his family and friends. He lived life fully, passionately and loved people and they loved him in return. Jim truly was an awesome individual with an uncanny ability to engage with everyone. He was an avid fan of the Windsor Spitfires, Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Tigers and enjoyed attending or watching games with his family. Please join Jim"s family to celebrate his life at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. His Celebration will continue on Thursday, September 6, 2018 with services in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30am followed by interment at St. Anne"s Cemetery. Jim will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew him. We are fortunate to have so many treasured memories to hold on to. Donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation would be appreciated. Condolences may be left at www.windsorchapel.com
