Obituary of Salvatore Scalia

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Salvatore Scalia on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Beloved husband of Angela for almost 50 years. Proud father of Sarina (John Neal) and Patrizia (David Guerrieri). Adored Nonno of Vincent, Nikolas, and Ethan. Pre-deceased by his siblings Rosa (Giuseppe Lorenzano), Carmela (Salvatore Lattuca), Gina (Antonino Sprio), Angelo (Carmela), Gerlando & Giuseppe. Survived by his sisters; Maria (Vincenzo Gaziano) and Lina (Luigi Sprio), and sisters-in-law Maria and Francesca. He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Retired from Ford for 35 years, he enjoyed his time spent with his friends, neighbors, and especially his grandsons and his wife. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234. on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 3-5pm & 6-8pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Our Lady of the Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) from 9am until the time of the funeral mass at 10am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest. Donations in memory of Salvatore may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County.
