Obituary of Francesco Tacconi

TACCONI, Francesco<br/>July 11, 1924 - November 19, 2020<br/>It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francesco at 96 years of age. Francesco was born in Rocca Fluvione, Italy to the late Maria and Emidio. Predeceased by his loving wife, Maria (nee Tosti), who he shared 53 years of marriage with. Predeceased by siblings Giuseppe, Antonio, Amalia and Adelino. Predeceased by in-laws Antonio and Gilda Tosti. Dear brother-in-law to Teresa (late Adorno) Adoranti, Angelo (Domenica) Tosti, late Pietro (late Giovanna) Tosti, late Domenico (Assunta) Tosti, late Costantino (Adele) Tosti, and late Giovanni Tosti. He will be dearly missed by his many loving nieces, nephews, and friends in Canada and Italy. Francesco was admired for his hard work and his resolve. Being a passionate gardener, he was known among his family and friends for his generosity with his harvest. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 12 - 4 p.m. Funeral mass to be held at St. Angela Merici Church on Monday, November 23 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (limited numbers due to covid restrictions at the cemetery).
