Obituary of Aurelio Montero

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ariel "Tito Boy" on August 10, 2018 at the age of 68. Cherished husband to Divina with whom he shared 43 beautiful years of marriage. Beloved Dad to Grace Montero, Choan Montero, and Darvin (Lisa) Montero. Treasured Lolo to Calina, Tavin, Logan and Syniya. Loved brother to Natividad, Virginia (Johnny), Becky (Lino), Norma (Boy), Marlyn, the late Charito, Carmelo (Jean), and Raul (Marissa). Ariel will be missed and remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends in the Philippines, and throughout North America. We will miss his passion for his family that he showed to us through his love and dedication. Ariel will be remembered for his pig roasts, pancit, soup and other Filipino delicacies. We will miss his jokes and his sense of humour. A special thank you to the Cancer Clinic, Ouellette Campus ER and 6 North teams for their care of Ariel. Thank you to each of his friends, relatives and GM coworkers for their prayers and care throughout the years. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East 519-253-7234 on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 7pm-9pm and on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Friday at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue at Good Shepherd Parish, (462 Advance Boulevard, Tecumseh) on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 9:30am until the time of Aurelio"s Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Aurelio, memorial donations may be made to Windsor Cancer Clinic Foundation.
