Obituary of Giovanni Cavataio

Passed away peacefully, on August 11, 2018, surrounded by his family at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus, at the age of 61 years. Cherished father of Enza husband Craig Duplessie and Joe wife Olivia Cavataio. Proud Nonno of Sophia and Paulina Cavataio and Noah Duplessie. Dear brother of Paolo wife Bice and Grazia husband Filipo, all in Sicily. Giovanni is predeceased by his parents Giuseppe Vincenza Cavataio. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Special thank you to Mary Cavataio, the entire Vento family, and cousin Paolo Cavataio for all the love and support throughout the years, the caring nursing staff of Huron Lodge - Sycamore Neighbourhood over the years and to the nursing staff and Dr. Seski of the 6th floor at Met Campus. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave 519.253.7234 on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 2-4 6-8pm. Parish Prayers 3:30pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 10:15am from the funeral home to St Angela Merici for 11am Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
