Obituary of Gerardo Tullio

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Gerardo Tullio who passed peacefully on August 3, 2018 at the age of 89. Gerado was born in Gallinaro, Frosinone, Italy on September 13, 1928 and immigrated to Windsor in 1951. He was the devoted husband to Gerarda Tullio (July 11, 1996). Loving and supportive father to Mario, Dan (Paula), Tony (Mary). Grandchildren who will always live by his words of wisdom, Marla (Nick), Jessica (Chadd), Helina (Alec), Jerry (Alyssa), Julia. He had two cherished great-grandchildren who he adored Amari and Aliya. Dear brother to Leo (Louise), Brother-in-law to Luigi (Palmerina) Norcia, Filomena (Gerardo) Tullio. Uncle to Jerry (Josie) Norcia, Tony Norcia, Rocco (Daniella) Tullio, Michelina (Tony) Delicata, Tony Tullio, Melanie Tullio. Dearly loved by Joe and Maria Di Carlo and family. Gerardo will always be remembered for his dedication, hard work, great love for his family, his beloved figs, produce from his garden, wine, Christmas Eve dinners and family get togethers. Gerardo was retired from Chrysler Canada where he was employed for 34 years. Special thank you to Dr. D. Ziter and Dr. Favot. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave 519.253.7234 on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Parish Prayers at 330pm. A Funeral Service will be held 10:15 Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from the Funeral Home to St Angela Merici for Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
