Me. & Mrs. Pantic and Tina, I wish to convey my deepest sympathy for your loss. Ivana was a very confident and bubbly personality, ready to acknowledge the staff and students at Gordon McGregor whenever she saw them in the hall. She knew everyone! It was always apparent that her family supported her and cared for her in every way. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.

On behalf of everyone at Westview Freedom Academy I would like to offer our deepest simpathy for your loss. Ivanas energy was undeniable and her ability to engage with others made her known through the school. She could elicit hugs from the tough guys on her way out to the bus. Ivana was truely independent and one of a kind. We will all miss her greatly.

So sorry for your loss. Ivana always made me smile in my Clothing class at Westview Freedom Academy when she would say "I don't know how the knot happened! It just did it by itself. But you'll fix it, right?" And then she would smile, as was her way. May she rest in peace under God's care.

As one of Ivana's teachers I can truly say that she was unique in the way that she reached out and loved every person in our building. I will miss her hugs and the way she would lean her head on my shoulder when she could sense that I was having a rough day. I am going to miss her terribly and I pray that the hole she is leaving in your lives can be filled with the love she had for you. She talked so wonderfully of her family and she was very loved. Continuing prayers for everyone who loved her. Kathy Gallant.

Im very saddened to hear of the sudden passing of a beautiful light in so many lives. At school, Ivana made so many friends. The staff and the students loved her positive, happy attitude toward life. She was always asking everyone how they were doing and giving the most wonderful hugs. I will miss talking to Ivana and seeing her beautiful smile. May God bless her and hold her in his arms. My sincerest condolences to Ivanas family. Mrs. Daabous in Guidance

I am very sorry for your loss. Ivana is and was one of the happiest and sweetest girls i have ever met in my life. I felt sick to my stomach hearing the news that such a beautiful soul that i was lucky to know has passed. She sat at the back of the bus with me and are group of friends and listened to music and talked all the way home, then we would all say goodbye and wave as she walked up to mom. She gave everyone in the school hugs and she even sat and talked with me in the hallways about her mom and i could relate because i was close with my mom too. I''ve missed her and now i im going to always, because she left to soon thank you for bringing such an amazing girl in this world!! she will always be remembered for her love and compassion toward others! I am again very sorry to the family. She really did love everyone. What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us. -Helen Keller

I first met Ivana eight years ago at Sv.Dimitrije carousel. I was new to the community and a friend invited me to go with them so they had someone to be with. I dont remember the details of how we met Ivana but Im so happy we did, she was just the sweetest person to us, it was as if I was seeing an old friend again. We spent the entire night with her, she was so adorable and it was such a fun night for the three of us to humor each other. She gave us a tour of the hall and made sure we didnt get lost, if we needed to go somewhere in the hall she made sure we got there safely. Ivana assured that what was likely going to be a boring time for us was instead incredible fun. Six years later I had become friends with Tina not knowing she was Ivanas older sister. I eventually became acquainted with Ivana again and I was so happy to learn that she was just as much of a sweetheart she was over half a decade ago. It was always such fun seeing Ivana every time after that. Ivana always brought such a pure and well meant energy to every situation and never failed to get laughs out of everyone around her, not once. It pains me so much that your family lost your beautiful Ivana. I cant imagine what youre going through and I wish so badly you didnt have to experience this pain. Since learning Tina and Ivana were siblings, I had wondered multiple times in the last two years if I would ever share this story with Tina or anyone in your family. Im sorry for the circumstances I am sharing this with you now and I know you have plenty of wonderful memories with Ivana to cherish. But I decided to tell my first memory of Ivana with you now because I felt the only thing I can do for you is share a memory of her that wasnt yours that expresses the kind of person that you already knew she was. Someone as special as Ivana can only come from an equally special family, and it shows how much you loved her and raised her to be the great girl she was. I cant think of a way that explains in a clearer way how I would like this to make you feel, but I hope it does and that you appreciate the sentiment nonetheless and cherish this memory as I have.

I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter and of such a wonderful young lady. As a teacher you look forward to meeting a few very special students during your teaching career that really make a difference. Even though I never had the pleasure of being Ivana's classroom teacher she often visited my classroom and I thank God for that. I can't express enough how much the loss of Ivana is to our school and to our student body. Ivana was such a wonderful young lady. Her smile and laugh was intoxicating to everyone who was lucky enough to meet and spend time with her. My students and I have experienced Ivana's kind-hearted spirit on so many different occasions at Westview. She visited our classroom on many occasions and lifted the spirits of not only our STEPS students but the staff as well. You should know that there were so many times that Ivana has made my day bright and cheerful. I can't thank you enough for allowing Ivana to attend Westview Freedom Academy. I am so sorry that I cannot make the visitation as I am out of town on work related business.
