I don''t have to tell you that the man you call husband, father and friend was tremendous and know he made a difference. As my Physician, he consistently ensured I received the very best care and when I needed compassion in a particularly difficult time in my life he was the voice of reason who was able to turn my hopelessness into hope. "Fake it ''til you make it" he told me. I hear his voice often in tough times reminding me of that. My heart is heavy today after hearing this news. Thank you for sharing your loved one with all of us.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family. I was his patient for over thirty years and in all that time he listened, explained and cared. This one time he even got down on the floor and showed me how to do a particular exercise for my back. I was extremely grateful to have him for my doctor...RIP..

Dr Kizis has always been in my mind as being quite compassionate and it is certainly a loss and my spouse Patricia and I Extend a Most Sincere Sympathy. Outstanding and never forgotten was the time when he actually made a house call to my Parents on Walker Rd., just north of Hwy. #3, a practice which had ceased many years before and another time, years later when my Mom in her early nineties fractured her hip and although she was not his patient, however he upon seeing us, went into the examining room at Metropolitan Emergency and in a few moments placed us somewhat at ease when he assured us that all would be fine. Mom would remain in good mind and then lived to be 100 plus 3 months. Unfortunately we cannot call in due to now living in Niagara Falls, however We Are With You In Spirit and Prayer.

Kizis family, doctors and staff at Roseland Clinic. I was saddened this morning to read in the Star that Doctor Kizis had died and I wish to express my sincere condolences. I have been a patient of Dr. Kizis since ''day one'' and always considered him to be most professional and, at the same time, welcoming and compassionate. He helped me through some tough times and I could always count on him for an honest answer. I know there will be a huge void in family life and for all his colleagues and staff. My sincere sympathy to all of you. Eleanor Mertz
