To my regret, I only just found out about Nina's passing. We had been keeping in touch every few years and I was trying to contact her today to see how she and her family were doing. We had dated for a time when we were at the University of Windsor and I remember the time she took me to visit her family at the farm and her Dad gave me a glass of homemade wine. It was quite strong, but good! I also visited her in London, Ont., in an old but very interesting house. I can remember chasing a Bat and trying to get it out of the house - not easy! The next time we met was in Toronto, where we got together for lunch at The Standard, to catch up. Whatever the occasion, I always enjoyed the time we spent together. She was a very loving and caring woman.
I am very sad to learn we won't be able to catch up and share a few laughs and memories. 66 is too young for such a special lady! My condolences to her family and friends.
I have included a photo from when I knew her in Windsor and a more recent one.
