Obituary of Murray MacLeod

With a heavy heart we announce Murray"s passing on June 14th, 2018 at 68 years young. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Elizabeth Strutt-MacLeod with whom he shared over 40 years of love and companionship. Proud father of Rachel and Nevin MacLeod. Cherished brother of Chyleen Lobsinger and brother-in-law of Rick Lobsinger, Caroline and Doug Snow, Louise Leifer and the late Judith Taylor. Beloved son-in-law of Brian and Sheila Strutt and Brenda Russell. Murray will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and his special buddy "Bob." He will be fondly missed by many friends, colleagues, co-workers, and his extended family at Caesars Casino Windsor. Murray was an avid sports enthusiast and a partier til dawn with the "Rolling Stones" shaking the walls. Murray will be forever remembered as that easy going, generous, and fun loving guy!!! His family would like to thank Dr. Figaro and the many spectacular caregivers who provided comfort and sunshine to Murray over the last few months. Cremation has taken place. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Murray"s life to take place on Thursday, June 21st, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a memorial scholarship to be set up at St. Clair College in Murray"s name for future healthcare providers.
