Obituary of Luigi Magri

MAGRI, LuigiIt is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Luigi surrounded by his loving family on June 11, 2018. Luigi was born on January 23, 1930 in San Giovanni in Galdo, Italy. Loving husband of 65 years to Assunta (nee Timperio). Devoted father of Arthur and wife Anna (nee Cardinal) and Robert and wife Janet (nee Gignac). Grandfather of Jennifer Bourdeau (Grant), Alanna, Carlo Magri (Sandra )and Andrea Saab(Greg). Great grandfather of Michael, Ava, Mia, Angelina, and Valentina. Son of late Arturo and Assunta Magri. Son-in-law of late Vincenzo and Carmela Timperio. Brother of Domenico (Amalia), Tony, JoAnne(Ron) Lucas. Brother-in-law of late Emedio and Antonietta DeBenedictis, late Angelo Piunno (Amalia), late Angelo Timperio (Maria Francesca), late Michele Timperio (Pasqualina), late Domenico and Maria Timperio. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dearest godfather of Alanna, Vittorio Timperio and the late Riccardo Timperio and Dino Bertucci. Luigi was the proud owner of Roma Tile for many years. He enjoyed a long and well deserved retirement. Luigi was a man of great courage, drive and determination who lived his life to the fullest. His greatest passion for life was his unending love for his family of which we all felt while in his presence. In our hearts he will hold a place no one can ever fill. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 9:45am from the funeral home then to Good Shepherd Parish ( 462 Advance Blvd. Tecumseh,ON) for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
