Obituary of Lucien Roger Dagenais

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 1, 2018 at the age of 90. Reunited with his wife, Dorothy with whom he shared 67 years. Cherished dad to Cathie (the late Bob) Lauzon, Barb Dagenais, Roger Dagenais, the late Elaine Dagenais, Rick (Angela) Dagenais, Theresa (Gerry) Young, Michelle (Frank) Dow, and Darryl (Karen) Dagenais. Proud Pepe to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Patricia Puryk. Predeceased by parents Syrias and Aldea Dagenais, and siblings, Albertine Bourke, Yvette Chase, Leo Dagenais, Armand Dagenais, Rita Thomas, Gerard Dagenais, Lucienne Pavek, Simone Goulet, and Raymond Dagenais. Roger retired from Con-Rail after spending most of his career dedicated to the railroad in various capacities. He was always busy working, making the best life for his family. We will miss him greatly and we"re thankful for what he taught us and his dedication to our family. A special thank you to Chartwell St. Clair Beach and Extendicare Tecumseh. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of Roger"s Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Cremation will follow. For those who wish, and in memory of Roger, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
