Obituary of Nicholas John Scheer

SCHEER, Nicholas John Passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the age of 86. Loving husband to the late Marie (2016) (nee Menard). Cherished father to Francis "Ed" (Tatiana), the late Donna Marie (2002) and Linda Ann. Proud papa to Robyn and Eddie, and grandpa to Sommer Lynn, Dustin and Devin. Predeceased by his brothers Frank of British Columbia, and Jan of the Netherlands. Survived by sisters Joke and Lientje, also of the Netherlands. Born in Holland, May 18th, 1931, Nicholas emigrated to Canada in 1953. He was a proud Chrysler employee for almost 35 years, retiring in 1994. He was an avid landscaper with an extensive knowledge in horticulture. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234, on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial Celebration of Life on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10am in the Chapel.
