Obituary of Amedeo Morrone

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Amedeo Morrone. Beloved and adored husband of the late Adelina (Belsito). Cherished father of Antonella and Carlo Bachetti, Maria and Mark Irwin, Giovanni and Kyong-Oh Morrone, Giuseppina and Joe Cardillo. Adored nonno of Katria and husband Michael Lepera, Peter and wife Kristen (Mastrodicasa) Bachetti, Alexandria Irwin, Sofia and Amedeo Morrone, Giovanni and Christopher Cardillo. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Maria (DeMarco) Morrone and siblings; Gaetano (Welland), Elisa, Adele, Ottavio, Santo and Annina (all in Italy). Beloved brother of Riccardo (Lina) Morrone from Thunder Bay. Loving and special uncle of Joe and Julie Morrone. Amedeo has many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Amedeo was a retired custodian from the Windsor Separate School Board. He was well loved by all the students and teachers at St. Rose and St. Thomas elementary schools. Amedeo was a special man who loved his family, his garden and spending his afternoons at Tecumseh mall. He always had a smile and was loving towards everyone; especially his grandchildren whom he adored. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral Services on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 9:00am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. Heartfelt thanks go out to the first responders, nurses, doctors, neighbours and all involved in the compassionate care provided to our dear dad.
