Obituary of Angela Luigia D'Angela

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angela, a loving Wife, Mama, Nonna and Bis-Nonna on April 16, 2018 at University Hospital, London, Ontario, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Onorio with whom she celebrated 66 years of loving marriage. Loving and devoted mama to, Laura Zambito and husband Gaspare, Mario D"Angela, Danny D"Angela and Kim Cartier, Gianni D"Angela and wife Denise, and predeceased by her baby infant son, Antonio (July 10,1956 " July 18,1956). Cherished Nonna of Steve Zambito (Debbie), Onorio Zambito (Jennifer), Susan Osbourne (Jeff), Daniel D"Angela (Sarah), Jason D"Angela (Brittany), Derek D"Angela (Brittany), Melissa D"Angela (Matt), Dayna D"Angela (Mike), Angeliea D"Angela, Peter D"Angela (Megan), Kristina D"Angela (Salvatore) and Alec D"Angela. Bis-Nonna to Alexis, Sophia, Isabella, Alivia, Julia, Ashton, Anthony and Oliver. Predeceased by Parents Domenico and Concetta Molle and in-laws Giuseppe and Domenica D"Angela. Dear sister to Palmerino Molle (Antoinetta) and predeceased by sister Anna D"Angela (Alessio). Dear sister-in-law to the late Gerarda Daltoria (Phil), Maria Delicata (Onorio), Antoinetta Delicata (Giuseppe) and Rosa Fantetti (Frank). Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Angela was a proud member of the Ciociaro Club and its choir, Voci Ciociare. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and going for daily walks with her husband Onorio at Devonshire Mall. Angela"s greatest pride and joy in her life was her loving family and ensuring that they were always fed a home-cooked meal and continuously looked after. A heartfelt thank you to Windsor EMS and University Hospital (I.C.U) staff in London, Ontario for their compassionate care provided to Angela and her family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Thursday April 19, 2018 from 7-9pm and Friday April 20, 2018 from 2-4 7-9pm. Parish Prayers Friday at 7:30pm. Funeral Service on Saturday April 21,2018 at 8:45am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30am Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to University Hospital, London, Ontario, Heart and Stroke Foundation or for Masses in her memory.
