Obituary of Alida Warwick

It has pleased Almighty God to call home his servant Lee on April 2, 2018 at the age of 92 years. She will be reunited with her dear husband, Lyle (2008). With whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage. Cherished mother and role model of Janis, Gary (Cathy), and Wayne. Caring grandmother to Jon (Tina), Mike (Erin), Ryan, Jenna, Jason, Brad, and Oma of Caleb, Cole, and Avery. Predeceased by her parents, Michael & Auguste Schultz, and her sister, Elma (1938). Loving sister-in-law to Isabell Warwick and Joan Fulmer. Dear friend to Sylvia (late Rev. Richard) Lonnee of NC who rarely missed a weekend phone call in ten years. Lee faithfully attended Peace Lutheran Church since its opening in 1957 up until her last worship on April 1, 2018. She has served her Lord in many capacities, especially on the Finance committee and a member of the choir. While our dad coached, mom never missed a game, cheering on her sons in baseball, hockey and football. Her biggest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her face would always light up whenever she saw them. Mom, you were always there for us. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E 519.253.7234 on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Prayers at 8:30pm. Family and friends will be received at Peace Lutheran Church (1985 Rossini Blvd) on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 11:30am until time of Funeral Service noon. Pastor James Leistico officiating. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peace Lutheran Church Parsonage Fund.
