FURTADO, Rosa MariaPassed away peacefully in S. Miguel, Azores, Portugal on March 18, 2018 at the age of 74 years. Reunited with her loving husband Jo"o Medeiros Furtado (Nov 1, 2014). Beloved mother to Ana Avila (Mario), Laura Furtado (Luis Simas), Nelia Brown (Dwight), John Furtado (Stephanie) and Susy Furtado. Cherished grandmother to Jennifer Avila, Amanda Furtado, Keasha Furtado and Zelia Furtado. Dear great grandmother to Isaiah Avila, Deontae Avila, Jesse Furtado, Quinci Furtado, Sage Johnson and Jaxson Furtado. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Friday April 6, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 10:45am from the funeral home to St. Theresa Church (1991 Norman Rd.) for Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Rosa may be made to Diabetes of Canada.
