Obituary of Violet Vadnais

Vadnais, Violet (Ljubica Popovich)It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Violet on March 23, 2018 at the Villages of Aspen Lake. Dearest wife of the late Hector (2000). Cherished and loving mom to son Randy, and daughter Bonnie (the late Brent (2012) Poliquin. Amazing and proud "grammy" to Whitney, Rory (Brianne), Marshall Vadnais (Kate) and Brandon, Brittany Poliquin and "great grammy" to baby Sophie. Daughter of the late Jovo and Ika Popovich and dear sister to Bronko (Dolores), Eli (Nadia), Helen May and Cathie Thornhill. Loving aunt to Debbie, Nicole, late John, Kristine, late Peter and Mecca. Retired from Hiram Walker and Sons Ltd and Caesars Windsor. Violet was also an Usher at the Fox and Fisher Theaters and volunteered at Windsor Regional Hospital. Thank you to all the wonderful caregivers who treated our Mom with compassion, dignity and professionalism on the LaSalle Town of Aspen Lake. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 1-3pm & 7-9pm. Private family burial at St. Anne"s Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County are requested by the family.
