Obituary of Maria Martincic

MARTINCIC, Maria "Mimi" (nee Skrlj)Peacefully passed away on March 18, 2018 at the age of 95, to be reunited with her dear husband Ferdo (2000). Maria"s strong faith has been instilled in her sons Frank (Trudy), Fernando (Cecilia) and Joze (Milka), her cherished grandchildren John, Frank, Monica, Peter, Bernadette, Fernando III, Sebastian, Anita, Eddie, Roman with their spouses and her 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving siblings and survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mimi will be missed by many friends in her home country of Slovenia as well as the Slovenian community in Argentina and Canada where she lived for many years. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 3-5 & 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 9:45am from the Funeral Home to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
