Obituary of Elizabeth Burke

Burke, Elizabeth (nee Moynahan) It is with saddened hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Elizabeth on March 5, 2018 in her home. Elizabeth will finally be reunited with her late parents, John Shirley Moynahan. Extremely loving mom to Darryl Chartier (Natasha) and Carson Burke (Harlee). Adored nana to Irelynn, Katie, Lillian, and Baby Burke to-be (October 2018). Loving sister to Dan (Judy) Moynahan, Lorri Renaud (Belafonte), and Chris (Kelly) Moynahan. She will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Elizabeth had a long career at Ford Motor Company, where she accomplished being named as the first woman supervisor of the company. After a short retirement, Elizabeth returned back to the workplace at Green Shield Canada. She lived a life full of fun, spending every extra minute of time with her family friends, gardening, crocheting, and being on the water. Every morning, Elizabeth would wake up to watch the sun rise and each night loved to see the sunset. Memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E 519.253.7234 on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 3-5 7-9pm. A Memorial Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 10:30am. **In typical Elizabeth fashion, please attend in casual attire.** Inurnment will be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
