Obituary of Spencer Justin Frederick Gatt

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Spencer Gatt after a courageous and long battle, without a moment of ever giving up. Spencer will be dearly missed and always remembered by his loving and devoted partner Dylan Ashton. Favourite boy in the whole world to his loving mother Lisa Burgoyne " late Fred (2001), and deeply admired by his sisters Rita (Chris Ingratta), Linda (Lorenzo Sanchez), Sondra "Sonda" (Jon Chaif) and the late Annie (1991). Loved and cherished by his best friend and aunt, Dawn Ferguson. Adored uncle to Atticus and Zoya. Cherished by Darrell Beth Ashton, Carmen (Sean Carpenter) and Nadine (Jake Willson). Spencer will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He has joined his grandfather Alan Ferguson, and his cats Lola and Atlas. Although it is hard to say good bye to Spence, he will be easily remembered for his many unique and best qualities. He was selfless, loving, kind, compassionate, courageous and brave. He always put others first. His contagious giggle will forever be embedded in our heads and hearts. Most of all it is his kindness humour that will live on in those he loved. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 10am until the time of a Celebration of Spencer"s life begins at 10:30am. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Spencer may be made directly to his family.
