Obituary of John Potts

POTTS, John (Bud)June 16, 1930 " February 28, 2018Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Cherished son of the late Jack and Florence Potts. Beloved husband of the late Rose-May (Sandstedt). Dear brother of the late Gordon Potts and survived by his sister-in-law Alice, brother of the late Bill Potts (Kay), and late sisters-in-law Jean Devine (Joe), Dorothy Galipeau (Lionel), and Mildred Laramie (Don), and survived by brother-in-law Ralph Sandstedt (Mildred). Loving father of Allyson Perruzza (Enzo), Shelley Jarvis (Derek), Jay Potts (the late Cheryl), and Stacey Ierullo (Bruno). Adored Granddad to 10 grandchildren and Great Granddad to 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bud was a retired employee of the City of Windsor and a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12. Bud will be sadly missed by all. Cremation services were held. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, March 31st. Details to follow. Donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12 Building Fund. A graveside memorial service will take place at Victoria Memorial Gardens, 1185 ON-3, Oldcastle, on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 am.
