Obituary of Nikolaus Bauer

BAUER, Nick (Nikolaus)Born January 21, 1930 in Romania. Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Bauer (nee Alb), four children: Alfons (Danielle) Bauer, Linda Dahl, Paul (Suzy) Bauer and Jane (David) Van Manen. He was also loved greatly by six grandchildren: Jonathan (Roseanna) Bauer, Melanie Bauer, Thiery Bauer, Melissa (Justin) Valdis, Jason (Elysia) Dahl and Shannon (William) Long: four great-grand children: Zoe and Madison Bauer and Ryder and Charlotte Valdis. He is also survived by one brother, Walter (Mary) Bauer. Nick spent his career working at Windsor Tool and Die for 46 years before retiring in 1995. Cremation has taken place. Friends may join us in a celebration of life on Friday, February 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East 519-253-7234.
