Obituary of Stjepan Sekulic

SEKULIC, Stjepan Passed away peacefully on February 19, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband to Kata (nee: Krpan). Loving father to Ante "Tony" Sekulic and wife Barbara. Predeceased by sister Kata Sekulic and brothers Mile, Ive and Ante Sekulic. He is survived by many cousins in Windsor, Hamilton, Niagara Falls, Ontario and Waukegan, Illinois. Stjepan immigrated to Canada in 1967 with a single suitcase to start a new life. He retired from Ford of Canada after 27 years of dedicated service. Stjepan was a founding member of the Windsor Croatian Centre and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 2:00 pm " 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm " 9:00 pm. Parish prayers at 8:00 pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 9:15 am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund, Crkva Sveti Mihovil in Lovinac, Croatia, or Parkinson"s Society.
