Obituary of Regina Janek

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother Regina on February 18, 2018 just one month after her 91st birthday. Reunited with her loving husband Jan, her son Ctibor Janek and her infant daughter Innocenta Janek. Cherished and devoted mother of Hyacinta Catari and husband Michal, Jan Janek and wife Olga, and Lucy Janek. Adored grandmother "Babicka" of Martin Catari, Michal Catari and wife Michelle, Adam Janek, Stephanie Janek, and Andrew Janek. Great Babicka of Ryan, Matthew, Corina, Colin, and Blake. Dear sister of the late Jolana, late Marca, late Veronika and Margita all in Slovakia. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Regina will always be remembered for her love of baking and helping others. Above all, her unwavering love and devotion to her family will be cherished forever. A special thank you to the PSW"s from Paramed and nurses from St. Elizabeth"s Healthcare and Dr. Peter Gresko for your care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday February 21, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Road) on Thursday February 22, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery. In memory of Regina, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of Choice.
