Obituary of Katherine Zacher

ZACHER, Katherine "Katie" (nee Weisgerber)Has gone peacefully to be reunited with her beloved husband Felix (2015) on February 14, 2018 at the age of 93. Always to be remembered by her loving children Katherine (Leon) Bodyk, Bonnie (Sam) Stagno and son-in-law Chris Thomsen. Predeceased by her dear children Lillian Thomsen, Gale Prokop, Wayne and Brian Zacher. Devoted grandmother of Krislyn, Kayla, Michael, Matthew, Luke, Terry, Shawn (Jen), Kurt, Tracy, and Patti, great-grandmother to 6 and great-great grandmother of 2. A deep hearted thank you to all the staff at Riverside Place for your exceptional care, and the compassion you gave to "Kay". Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8pm with Parish Prayers at 3:30pm. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St) for visitation on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 10am until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. If you so desire, donations in Katherine"s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated by her family.
