Obituary of Vincenza Califano

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Enza on February 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at 57 years of age. Loving wife and best friend of Joe with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Cherished and devoted Mother of Sonia (Aaron Bondy). Adored and treasured Nonna of Brooklyn. Reunited with her daughters. Precious daughter of Grazia Zambito and the late Antonino and daughter-in-law of Brigida and the late Aniello. Dear sister of Joe, late Leo and Tony Jr. (Colette) and sister-in-law of Carmen (Al) and Rosanne (Ralph). She will also be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Enza will be remembered for her spirited wit, her selfless heart and her love for cooking and baking especially her famous Amaretti. Above all, her unwavering love and devotion to her family and friends will always be cherished and never forgotten. A special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital " Metropolitan Campus on the 4th floor and ICU for your outstanding care and compassion given to Enza. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday February 8, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Service Friday February 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
