Obituary of Emanuele Dalla Bona

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Emanuele on Monday, January 22, 2018 peacefully with his family by his side. Cherished husband to Doris for 56 years, and loving father of Claudia (Bill Switzer), Luca, Andrew (Erika), and Ali (Roger Dubeau). Adored Nonno of Lindsay, Natalie, Michael, Anda, Naudia, Nicolas, Luca, Ethan, and Julia. Bis-Nonno to 6 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Emanuele worked tirelessly on chasing and fulfilling his passions, including sailing and woodworking. As a true craftsman, he took pride in his cottage on Pelee Island and all other countless projects. Retired from Ford Motor Co. Emanuele enjoyed time with his family, boats, and friends. The family would like to extend their deep appreciation for the care and compassion Emanuele received at Country Village Nursing Home, in Woodslee. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL 519.253.7234. A private service was held in remembrance of Emanuele. A gathering of friends and family will be held to celebrate his life, at a later date. In memory of Emanuele and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Ontario or to the Alzheimer Society.
